Castle Rock Signature Outdoor Living Retreat

This Castle Rock, Colorado project was designed as a complete outdoor living environment, thoughtfully divided into multiple spaces that work together while serving distinct purposes. Spanning the width of the home, the custom deck combines covered and open-air sections to create a seamless balance of comfort, entertaining, and year-round functionality. Brick pillars and architectural brick accents throughout the project provide a timeless appearance that complements the home’s exterior while adding warmth and character.

One end of the deck features a glass-enclosed outdoor living room centered around a fireplace with a mounted television. Integrated lighting, a ceiling fan, and a steel spiral staircase enhance both comfort and usability, creating a welcoming gathering space in every season. The central section remains open to the sky and provides ample room for outdoor dining and conversation, while the opposite covered section houses a fully equipped outdoor kitchen complete with a built-in grill, vent hood, integrated lighting, and additional seating.

Below the deck, a covered patio extends the outdoor living experience with a hot tub retreat and additional seating areas. The finished underside of the deck incorporates integrated lighting, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere after sunset. Beyond the patio, a dedicated fire pit gathering area provides another destination for relaxing and entertaining. Together, these spaces form a layered outdoor living environment designed to maximize comfort, functionality, and enjoyment throughout the year.
